(House Bill 621)

AN ACT to add new Section 100A(g) to Article 52 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume), title "Justices of
the Peace," subtitle "Trial Magistrates System," to follow immedi-
ately after Section 100A(f) thereof, to provide for the destruction
or microfilming of obsolete records of the People's Court of Har-
ford County, and requiring the Clerk of said Court to keep
detailed dockets of all proceedings brought before said Court.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 100A(g) be and it is hereby added to Article 52
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume),
title "Justices of the Peace," subtitle "Trial Magistrates System,"
to follow immediately after Section 100A(f) thereof, and to read
as follows:

100 A.

(g) The Chief Trial Magistrate of the People's Court of Har-
ford County may microfilm any of the records of the People's Court
of Harford County at any time he deems proper AND MAY AFTER
MICROFILMING, or destroy any records of the People's Court, which
have been maintained on file for three (3) years, which he may deem
obsolete and of no further use in the People's Court proceedings.;
providing that the THE Clerk of the People's Court shall maintain
detailed Dockets recording all matters which are brought before the
the People's Court.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

AN ACT to add new Section 645U to Article 27 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1967 Replacement Volume and 1968 Supple-
ment), title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle "Venue, Pro-
cedure and Sentence," subheading "Employment of Prisoners,"
to follow immediately after Section 645T thereof, to provide a
work release program in Harford County for persons convicted
in the Circuit Court for Harford County or in the People's Court
of Harford County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 645U be and it is hereby added to Article 27 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1967 Replacement Volume and 1968
Supplement), title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle "Venue,
Procedure and Sentence," subheading "Employment of Prisoners,"
to follow immediately after Section 645T thereof, and to read as
follows:
