(e) In Prince George's County, the judges of the People's Court
shall have the power [, in addition to power otherwise enumerated
in this section, to issue writs of subpoena duces tecum, habeas corpus
and prosequendum, habeas corpus ad testificandum and coram nobis
and] to establish a traffic school for persons convicted of violating
the laws relating to the use and operation of motor vehicles. As a
part of the penalty and judgment in their case, all persons convicted
of violating any law relating to the use and operation of motor
vehicles may be required to attend the traffic school, under the con-
ditions hereinafter prescribed. The traffic school, which shall have
as its purposes driver education and safety, shall be under the direc-
tion and control of the judges of the People's Court, and it shall be
operated by the county police of Prince George's County. Violators
may be required to attend the traffic school for a period of time not
to exceed an aggregate of ten hours. The traffic school shall be held
at such times and in such places as may be designated by the judges
of the People's Court.

The laws which heretofore have specified the fees chargeable by
trial magistrates and justices of the peace in said counties and also
the laws previously concerning the right of appeal from the trial
magistrates and justices of the peace in said counties shall continue
in all respects to be effective as to the People's Court of Montgomery
County and to the People's Court of Prince George's County.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

(House Bill 251)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 148 of
Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1967 Replace-
ment Volume), title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Birds, Game
and Inland Water Fish," subheading "Field Trials," to lower the
minimum fine for violation of Sections 132 to 147 of this Article;
to provide that the taking of each and every gamebird and game
animal constitutes a separate offense; and to exempt wild water-
fowl from the provisions of this Section.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 148 of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1967 Replacement Volume), title "Natural Resources," subtitle
"Birds, Game and Inland Water Fish," subheading "Field Trials,"
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

148.

Any person [convicted before any justice of the peace of this
State, or court of justice, for] violating any of the provisions of
Sections 132 to 147, inclusive, unless a different penalty is otherwise
