(b) Traffic division—The schedule of costs in the traffic division
for cases in which costs are imposed shall be as follows:
Two dollars ($2.00) [One dollar ($1.00)] in those cases in which a
guilty plea may be, and is, entered without appearance before the
court.
Three dollars ($3.00) [Two dollars ($2.00)] in those cases in which
appearance before the court is required and a plea of guilty is
entered.
Three dollars ($3.00) [Two dollars ($2.00)] in cases tried before
the court on a plea of not guilty. All fines, penalties, and forfeitures
in cases involving violations of the motor vehicle laws of this State
shall be paid TO THE DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES.
FINES, PENALTIES, AND FORFEITURES in cases involving
violations of the traffic ordinances of the mayor and city council of
Baltimore shall be paid to the mayor and city council of Baltimore.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

(Senate Bill 549)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 98 of
Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement
Volume), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Hours and Days
for Sale," changing the hours during which on-sale alcoholic bev-
erage licenses may be exercised in Frederick County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 98 of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1968 Replacement Volume), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle
"Hours and Days for Sale," be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

In Frederick County notwithstanding any other provision of this
subtitle, the privilege conferred by every class of "on-sale" license
may be exercised during the hours from 6 o'clock a.m. to [[12 o'clock
midnight] 1 o'clock a.m., except on Sundays, when the hours shall
be from 1 o'clock p.m. to [12 o'clock midnight.] 1 o'clock a.m. Pro-
vided, however, that nothing in this section shall apply to holders of
Class E licenses.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.
