not less than three names for each appointment to be made. Vacancies
shall be filled by the Governor , upon the recommendation of the Sec-
retary of Health and Mental Hygiene,
for the unexpired term in the
manner provided herein. A quorum of the Board for the transaction
of business shall be four members. Members of the Board shall be
entitled to receive such compensation as it may determine from time
to time, not to exceed twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per day for each
day they are engaged in transacting the business of the Board. The
members shall receive also their necessary traveling expenses. The
Board shall elect annually one of its members as chairman, and shall
also elect annually a secretary, who need not be a member of the
Board. The secretary shall receive such compensation as may be pro-
vided in the budget; and the compensation of the members, the
secretary and all expenses of the Board shall be paid from its
receipts. The Board shall have the authority to obtain information
which it may require in the field of physical therapy and, for that
purpose, may secure the advice of experts and consultants to be paid
out of the funds of the Board.

Sec. 22. And be it further enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That Sections 621, 624, 626, and 628 of Article 43 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1965 Replacement
Volume), title "Health," subtitle "Psychologists' Certification Act,"
be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:

621.

The State Board of Examiners of Psychologists whose duty it is
to administer the provisions of this subtitle is hereby established
as part of the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. The Board
shall consist of five psychologists, who shall be appointed by the
Governor , upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Health and
Mental Hygiene,
from a list of nominees presented by the Maryland
Psychological Association, Inc.[, with the advice and consent of the
Senate of Maryland]. The members of the first Board shall be
appointed within ninety days after July 1, 1957, to serve the follow-
ing terms: Two members for one year, two members for two years
and one member for three years from July 1, 1957. Thereafter, at
the expiration of the term of each member, the Governor , upon the
recommendation of the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene,
shall
appoint his successor for a term of three years. Before entering upon
the duties of his office, each member of the Board shall take the
constitutional oath of office and file it with the Secretary of State.
Each member of the Board first appointed under this subtitle shall
be issued a certificate of certification.

624.

The Board shall hold a regular annual meeting at which it shall
select from its members a chairman and a vice-chairman. Other
regular meetings shall be held at such times as the rules of the
Board may provide. Special meetings may be held at such times
as may be deemed necessary
