ure of said Osteopathic Association to submit said list, as aforesaid,
the Governor , upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Health
and Mental Hygiene,
shall appoint members in good standing of said
Osteopathic Association, without restriction; provided, however, that
said members shall be qualified as aforesaid, by graduation and
practice.

The first meeting of the said Board of Osteopathic Examiners shall
be held on the first Tuesday of June, one thousand nine hundred and
fourteen, at Baltimore, Maryland, and subsequent meetings for or-
ganization, in June, annually; the Board shall also meet whenever
so directed by the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene;
suitable
notice in the usual form being given by the secretary of the Board
to each of the members thereof, specifying the time and place of
meeting.

At the first meeting of the Board, and at each annual meeting in
June, an organization shall be effected by the election from its mem-
bership of a president, a secretary, and a treasurer.

Sec. 18. And be it further enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That Section 482 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1957 Edition and 1965 Replacement Volume), title
"Health," subtitle "Podiatry," be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendment, to read as follows:

482.

There shall be established a Board of Podiatry Examiners for the
State of Maryland. The Board shall be part of the Department of
Health and Mental Hygiene, and shall file reports of its activities
with the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene at such times as
he shall prescribe.
This Board shall consist of four members whose
duty it shall be to carry out the purposes and enforce the provisions
of this subtitle. They shall be selected by the Board of Medical
Examiners of the Medical and Chirurgical Faculty of Maryland at
its annual meeting (in June), three of the said four members to be
selected from among the members of the Maryland Pedic Association,
and one from among the members of said Board of Medical Exam-
iners of the Medical and Chirurgical Faculty of Maryland; and each
appointee is, immediately after his or her election, to be furnished
with a certificate thereof by the said Board electing him or her.
The term of office of the four members first appointed shall be for
one year, two years, three years and four years respectively. The
Board of Medical Examiners of the Medical and Chirurgical Faculty
of Maryland shall designate which of said members first appointed
shall serve for said respective terms. Upon the expiration of the
term of each of said members first appointed the term of his suc-
cessor shall be for four years, the outgoing members to be eligible
for reelection. The term of office of each member shall commence
on the fifteenth day of June next ensuing his or her appointment.
In case of a vacancy occurring in said Board of Podiatry Examiners,
said Board shall fill the same until the next annual meeting of the
