Chapter 20
(Bill No. 23)
AN ACT to amend Section 44-1(d), Chapter 44, title "Silver
Spring, Bethesda, Wheaton and Montgomery Hills Parking Lot Dis-
tricts," of the Montgomery County Code 1965, so as to change and
extend the boundaries of the Montgomery Hills Parking Lot District.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL FOR MONTGOM-
ERY COUNTY, MARYLAND, that—
Section 1. Section 44-1(d), title "Montgomery Hills Parking Lot Dis-
trict" of the Montgomery County Code 1965 is hereby amended by adding
new language, immediately preceding the last paragraph, to read as
follows:
There shall also be included within said district the property known
as part of Lots 1, 2 and 3, Block A, Section 1, North Woodside; as shown
on Plat No. 250, Plat Book 3, recorded among the Land Records of
Montgomery County and more particularly described as follows:
Being for the same at a pipe set at the intersection of the North line
of Luzerne Avenue with the West line of 16th Street Extension as shown on
Maryland State Roads Commission Plat No. 16876, thence with the North
line of Luzerne Avenue, being also the south line of said Lot 3,
1. along the arc of a curve to the right having a radius of 2242.01
feet, a distance of 23.22 feet, chord S 64° 44' 24" W 23.22 feet to a pipe at
the rear corner of Lots 3 and 4, Block A, thence with the rear lines of lots
3, 2 and 1, Block A, as resurveyed,
2. N 17° 09' 14" W 196.01 feet to a pipe at the rear corner of Lots 1
and 2 thence with a part of the North line of Lot 1, as resurveyed,
3. N 78° 55' 40" E 102.35 feet to intersect the aforesaid West line of
16th Street, thence with said line, two courses,
4. S 40° 57' 20" E 3.00 feet to intersect a curve to the right, thence,
5. along the arc of said curve 199.96 feet, chord S 06° 54' 45" W
196.05 feet, to the place of beginning, containing 14.331 square feet of
land.
Section 2. This Act shall take effect August 15, 1968.
Chapter 21
(Bill No. 24)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Section 7-14, sub-
sections (a) and (b), Montgomery County Code (1965 Edition) en-
titled "Pension of judges and spouses of deceased judges," to provide
that county supplemental pensions for circuit court judges be cal-
culated on the basis of the net county supplement to judges salaries
as of May 31, 1968; and to authorize the county to pay a supplemental
pension for judges having twenty years active service as a judge of the
State of Maryland, or a judge of the court of special appeals who has
also served as a judge of the circuit court for Montgomery County;
such pension calculated on the basis of 1% of the supplementation
paid to the salaries of the circuit court judges of Montgomery County
as of May 31, 1968.
