recreation district, within the limitations of the funds appropriated for
each area. Ordinances, rules and regulations adopted by the council here-
under may apply throughout the county or be confined to the recreation
district, as the council shall designate.

Section 4. This Act shall take effect August 15, 1968.

Chapter 6
(Bill No. 6)

An Act to repeal Chapter 46, titled "Special Taxing Area Laws,"
subtitled "Isle of Eden," to abolish the existing special taxing area
known as "Isle of Eden," and also known as "Selden Island," contain-
ing four hundred acres, more or less, in Montgomery County, Mary-
land, in the Third Election District, having been created under the
Laws of Montgomery County 1956.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL FOR MONTGOMERY
COUNTY, MARYLAND, that—

Section 1. Section 46-1 through Section 46-7, of Chapter 46, titled
"Special Taxing Area Laws," subtitled "Isle of Eden" of the Montgomery
County Code 1965, is hereby repealed.

Section 2. This Act shall take effect August 15, 1968.

LOCAL LAWS

Enacted during the 1968 Extra-Legislative Session

At the 1968 Extra-Legislative Session of the County Council for
Montgomery County, Maryland held in Rockville, Maryland, commencing
on the first day of May, 1968 and ending on the 31st day of May, 1968, the
following laws were enacted.

Chapter 1
(Bill No. 1)

An Act to add a new chapter designated Chapter 79A, title
"Boundary Lines," to the Montgomery County Code 1965, to follow
immediately after Chapter 79 thereof, so as to prohibit any seller,
broker or agent, from knowingly misleading a purchaser of land as to
property boundary lines, public land and rights-of-way, and property
corners; to require furnishing of subdivision plat; and to provide that
a violation of said chapter shall be a misdemeanor; and providing a
maximum penalty upon conviction thereof.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL FOR MONTGOMERY
COUNTY, MARYLAND, that

Section 1. There is hereby added a new chapter designated Chapter
79A, titled "Boundary Lines," to the Montgomery County Code 1965, to
follow immediately after Chapter 79 thereof, to read as follows:
