2028                              MUNICIPAL CHARTERS

At the time of the issuance of the license and renewals provided for
by this title, the following fees shall be payable.

Type of License                   Original Issue Annual Renewal

Master general electrician .................. $35.00            $25.00

Master limited electrician .................. 25.00             20.00

Restricted electrician .......................... 30.00             20.00

All licenses shall expire on June thirtieth in each year and are renew-
able upon payment of the annual renewal license fee prior to July first.

In the event that a license shall not be renewed prior to July first in
any year the renewal thereof shall be issued only upon payment of the fee
for original issue plus the annual renewal fee; provided, that if any license
is not renewed within one year of its expiration date no renewal license
shall be issued therefor, and the holder shall be entitled to receive a license
only upon compliance with the regulations as a new applicant therefor.

Sec. 10-24. Reciprocity with other counties and municipalities.

The Electrical Administrative Board of the county is authorized to
issue electricians' licenses for electrical work in the county to applicants
outside of the county, without examination, if the applicant holds a pre-
vious electrician's license issued by a county or municipality of the state;
provided only, that such counties or municipalities will in return issue
licenses to electricians of the county to work in the aforesaid counties or
municipalities without examination, and that such applicants have pre-
viously obtained a license in the county or municipality in which they
have been operating an electrical business, and have paid fees as required
by the county rules and regulations.

Sec. 10-25. Suspension or revocation.

The board shall have the power to suspend or revoke any license after
a public hearing upon at least fifteen days' notice to the licensee by regis-
tered mail for any of the following causes and reasons:

(a)   Permitting any unlicensed person, firm or corporation to obtain
a permit or perform electrical work under the authority of a licensee.

(b)   Perform or permitting the performance of defective or dangerous
work.

(c)  Except as otherwise provided in section 10-8 of this Code failing
to file an application for a permit from the department of permits and
licenses prior to the commencement of work as required by this title.

(d)  Failure to make corrections required by a notice issued by an

electrical inspector or failure to comply with an order of the Electrical

Administrative Board, as provided in section 10-8 of this title.

(e)  Violation of any of the provisions of this title or of any regula-
tions adopted pursuant to this title.
