Sec. 10-13. Same—Same—Qualifications.

In order to qualify for a master general electrician license the appli-
cant must show to the satisfaction of the board that he has been actively
in charge of electrical installation work under the supervision of a master
general electrician for a period of at least three years prior to this applica-
tion for such a license and must successfully pass an examination as to his
qualifications as provided in section 10-19 of this Code.

Sec. 10-14. Same—master limited electrician license—Scope; prerequisites

for issuance generally.

A master limited electrician license shall be issued to any person,
FIRM OR CORPORATION and shall specify the representative OR REP-
RESENTATIVES of the person under whose direction the work author-
ized by the license shall be performed. Such license shall authorize the
holder to perform, or to have performed, under the direction of its desig-
nated representative any of the work described in section 10-10 of this
Code, but only on the premises occupied by the holder of such license.

The applicant for such license shall submit to the board proof that it has

in its employ a representative qualified to supervise the type of work per-
formed by the applicant on its premises.

Sec. 10-15. Same—Same—Qualifications.

In order to qualify for a master limited electrician license the appli-
cant must submit to the board the name of the representative OR REPRE-
SENTATIVES under whom the work is to be done or supervised and prove
to the satisfaction of the board that the representative has worked under
the direction or supervision of a qualified person for at least two years, and
shall satisfactorily pass an examination for this type of license.

Sec. 10-16. Same—Restricted electrician's license—Scope.

A restricted electrician's license shall be issued to any person deter-
mined to be qualified by an examination given by the board and shall per-
mit the holder to install, maintain and repair the particular type or types
of electrical equipment specified in the license. Any one or two, when re-
lated, of the following may be so specified: Electrically operated heating
furnaces, electrically operated air conditioning and refrigeration equip-
ment, electrically operated elevators, electric display signs, motor repairs,
motor services, radio, television and electronics, or to maintain or repair
but not to install, electrical household appliances. The holder of this
license, other than that issued for electrical household appliances, radio,
television, electronics, motor repairs and motor services shall be permitted
to make installation of electrical wiring from the point of distribution to
and the equipment being installed. This license may be issued to any firm
or corporation if and so long as it has in its employ at least one holder of a
restricted electrician's license.
