whether or not the charter is to be amended as proposed by this act shall be
submitted to the voters of Baltimore County, Maryland, at the general elec-
tion on November 5, 1968, and that this act shall be published by the
county executive in at least two newspapers of general circulation in the
county for five successive weeks prior to the election.

Bill No. 68

An Act to amend the Baltimore County Zoning Regulations to
broaden the present five year time limitation on the exercise of special
exceptions already granted, by amending subsection 502.3 thereof.

Whereas, the amendments to the Zoning Regulations which are con-
tained in this Bill have been formulated in accordance with the procedures
specified in Sections 23-20 and 23-21 of the 1966 Cumulative Supplement
to the Baltimore County Code, 1958, and the several public hearings re-
quired by said sections have been held in accordance therewith; now,
therefore:

Section 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MARYLAND, That subsection 502.3 of the Balti-
more County Zoning Regulations, 1963, as amended, be and it is hereby
amended by deleting the date "July 1, 1965" in the third paragraph thereof
and substituting in lieu thereof the date "January 1, 1967". 1957".

Section 2. BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect forty five days after its enactment. IS HEREBY DECLARED TO
BE AN EMERGENCY MEASURE AFFECTING THE PUBLIC
HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELFARE AND HAVING BEEN PASSED
BY THE AFFIRMATIVE VOTE OF FIVE (5) MEMBERS OF THE
COUNTY COUNCIL, THE SAME SHALL TAKE EFFECT FROM THE
DATE OF ITS ENACTMENT.

READ AND PASSED this 1st day of July, 1968.
