66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Supplement), title
"Natural Resources," subtitles "Archaeological Resources," "Birds,
Game and Inland Water Fish," "Raising Game in Captivity," and
"Oysters and Clams," amending the laws of this State relating to
natural resources in order to make certain corrections therein con-
cerning language and references in these sections.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections HOB, 110F, 110H, 132 (1), 181 (c), 196A and 714C
(m) (1) of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968
Supplement), title "Natural Resources," subtitles "Archaeological
Resources," "Birds, Game and Inland Water Fish," "Raising Game
in Captivity," and "Oysters and Clams," be and the same are hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

110B.

It is unlawful for any person to excavate, appropriate, injure or
destroy any archaeological site situated on lands owned or controlled
by this State except with the permission of the Maryland Geological
Survey. Nothing contained in this [subheading] subtitle shall be
construed to abrogate or supplant any of the powers of the State
Roads Commission.

110F.

Any person who violates any of the prohibitory provisions of this
[subheading] subtitle is guilty of a misdemeanor. Upon conviction
thereof, he shall be fined a maximum of $100.00 or imprisoned for a
maximum of thirty days, or subject to both such fine and imprison-
ment in the discretion of the court. Each day of excavation, appro-
priation, or act of injuring or destroying any archaeological site is
a separate offense and shall be punishable as such.

110H.

There is hereby created a standing advisory committee which shall
be known as the advisory committee on archaeology. The committee
shall consist of five members with skill and knowledge in archaeo-
logical matters including representatives of reputable museums, insti-
tutions of higher education and recognized scientific and/or historical
societies or institutions. All members of the committee shall be
appointed by the Commission for an indefinite term. Vacancies shall
be filled by the Commission as in the original appointment. A chair-
man shall be chosen by the committee members. The committee
members shall serve without compensation other than reimburse-
ment for travel and actual expenses incurred in their duties under
this [subheading] subtitle. These expenses will be provided for in
the budget of the Maryland Geological Survey. The Chairman shall
call the meetings which shall be held at least four times a year. The
State Archaeologist shall attend all advisory committee meetings.

132.

(1) Shooting or disturbing wildlife in safety zones prohibited;
digging in or driving on cleared field; parking so as to block ingress
or egress.—It is unlawful at any time for any person, other than the
owner or occupant, while hunting or trapping for wild birds o
