1950                              MUNICIPAL CHARTERS

gomery County, Maryland, to Quince Orchard where the same is inter-
sected by the present existing Corporate Limit Line, and running thence
with the northerly side of said public road, westerly 280 feet more or less
to the intersection of said road with the easterly line of Chestnut Street,
thence crossing said Chestnut Street, still with the northerly line of said
public road, westerly 270 feet, more or less, thence leaving said road,
northerly with the dividing line between the lands of Harold Ward and
the property now occupied by Edgar M. Douglass 340 feet more or less, to
the said existing Corporate Limit Line, thence bounding therewith, south-
easterly, 705 feet, more or less, to the place of beginning.

(d) Same. Extended.

The boundaries of the Town of Gaithersburg are hereby extended to
include the following areas, which are hereby added to said Town:

(a)    Beginning for the same at a point on the west side of the Rock-
ville and Frederick Road and at the end of 1383.83' on the 15th line of a
conveyance from Offutt to Casey for 191.17A by deed recorded among the
land records of Montgomery County at Liber 668/209 thence with said
line being the westerly edge of the said road N 34-20-30 W to the point
of intersection with the existing corporation line running across the said
road and 150.00' south of the public road being the dividing line between
the Hutton tract and the Oakmont subdivision, thence following said
corporation line as established by an Act of the General Assembly, 1947,
Ch. 788, reversed to intersect the line dividing the Wilmot property from
the property of Visnich; thence leaving said corporation line with said
line dividing said properties S 32-08-35 W 1085.00', more or less, to
the end thereof; thence S 38-02-20 E, 924.00' with the westerly line
of said Visnich tract; thence still bounding said tract S 74-38 W, 186.49';
thence S 56-31 E, 382.32' with the westerly side of Rosemont Drive as laid
down in a plat of a subdivision called Rosemont recorded in P. B. 44 at folio
3262 among the land records of said Montgomery County; thence tra-
versing said Rosemont Drive N 33-29 E. 60.00' to the easterly side of said
Rosemont Drive at its intersection with Virginia Drive of said subdivision;
thence along the easterly side of said Virginia Drive to the point of
beginning.

(b)    Beginning at a point where the corporate line of the Town
of Gaithersburg intersects the right of way of the Baltimore and Ohio
Railroad, said point being at a stone planted on the land formerly owned
by Henry C. Ward and being the westmost point of the corporate limit of
the said Town; thence with the southerly limit of the said right of way
N 63-02-40 W to a point at which an extension of the easterly line of the
land of Clitus C. Bourdeaux would intersect said southerly limit; thence
with said extension S 28 W to the northeasterly corner of the said
Bourdeaux land; thence in the same direction with the easterly line of
said land, S 28 W 1001 feet, more or less, to the
