[Levy shall be made May 1 and the said sum of money to be paid
by the County Commissioners of Cecil County to the said volunteer
fire companies. The said County Commissioners are hereby directed
to require each of the said volunteer fire companies to file, annually, a
fair statement of the value of their respective fire fighting apparatus.
Each of the said volunteer fire companies shall also file with the
County Commissioners a statement of the number of fires to which
their respective companies were called during the previous year, the
estimated value of the property in which the fires occurred and the
estimated loss to the same by reason of any fire.]
The levy shall be made June 1st and the sum of money to be paid
by the County Commissioners to each volunteer fire company shall be
paid on or before September 1st of the fiscal year for which levied.
Each volunteer fire company shall file, annually, with the County
Commissioners, a statement of the fair value of their respective
fire fighting apparatus and ambulance and a statement of the num-
ber of fires to which their respective company was called, the esti-
mated value of the property in which the fires occurred, and the
estimated loss to the property caused by the fires.
For the fiscal year 1969-1970 the County Commissioners of Cecil
County are directed to levy on the assessable property in Cecil
County the sum of Thirty-six Thousand Six Hundred Dollars
($36,600.00) for the purpose of assisting in the maintenance and op-
eration of the nine volunteer fire companies in Cecil County. This sum
shall be allocated among the volunteer fire companies in the fixed
amounts indicated above. Each volunteer fire company shall com-
ply with all the provisions of this section in order to receive its funds
in fiscal year 1969-1970.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

AN ACT to add new Section 20A to Article 32 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1967 Replacement Volume), title "Dentistry," sub-
title "In General," to follow immediately after Section 20
thereof, to provide that the State Board of Dental Examiners may
adopt and promulgate, and amend or modify, certain rules and
regulations with respect to this Article, INCLUDING RULES
AND REGULATIONS CONCERNING THE USE OF DENTAL
ASSISTANTS AND PROVIDING A LIMITATION ON SUCH
USE.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 20A be and it is hereby added to Article 32 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1967 Replacement Volume), title
"Dentistry," subtitle "In General," to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 20 thereof and to read as follows:
