1888 MUNICIPAL CHARTERS
The above Charter amendment was enacted by the aforegoing Resolu-
tion which was passed at a regular meeting of the Mayor and Aldermen of
the City of Annapolis, 7 Aldermen and Mayor voting in the affirmative and
0 Aldermen voting in the negative, and said Resolution becomes effective
in accordance with law on the 3rd day of March, 1969.

Resolution of May 13, 1958
Upon a motion duly made and carried by the Commissioners of the
Town of Barnesville, Maryland, at a regular meeting on the 13th of May,
1958, the following addition was proposed to Section 3 of the Town Char-
ter, which section is titled "Commissioners—Election; qualifications:"
Except that, beginning with the election to be held in May, 1959, and
each election thereafter, said elections shall be held every two (2)
years to elect said commissioners to serve for two (2) years.
And upon the same motion, it was duly resolved to amend Section 6 of the
Town Charter, which section is titled "Town elections generally," which
reads:
Said commissioners (annually), on or before the first Monday in April
(in each year),...
And as amended, will read:
Said commissioners every two years, on or before the first Monday in
May every two years,...
In accordance Section 13 of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of General
Public Laws of Maryland, the addition and amendment aforesaid to the
Town Charter of Barnesville shall become a part of said Charter unless a
petition meeting the requirements of said section shall be presented to the
Town Commissioners by July 8, 1958.
