cation of Article; Extra-Hazardous Employments," to provide for
the application of the Workmen's Compensation Law to prisoners
engaged in extra-hazardous employment for certain agencies of
Washington County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 35(d) of Article 101 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1964 Replacement Volume), title "Workmen's Compensation,"
subtitle "Application of Article; Extra Hazardous Employments,"
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

35.

(d) The provisions of this section apply only in the counties of
Frederick, Wicomico, Anne Arundel, Harford, Washington and
Worcester.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for the immedi-
ate preservation of the public health and safety and having been
passed by a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of all the
members elected to each of the two houses of the General Assembly,
the same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

(House Bill 755)

AN ACT to add new Section 73A to the Code of Public Local Laws
of Charles County (1965 Edition, being Article 9 of the Code of
Public Laws of Maryland), title "Charles County," subtitle "County
Commissioners," to follow immediately after Section 73 thereof,
requiring in Charles County that a public hearing be held prior
to any action by the County Commissioners which may result
in the sale of bonds.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 73A be and it is hereby added to the Code of
Public Local Laws of Charles County (1965 Edition, being Article
9 of the Code of Public Laws of Maryland), title "Charles County,"
subtitle "County Commissioners," to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 73 thereof, and to read as follows:

73A.

The County Commissioners shall give public notice prior to taking
any action which may result in the sale of bonds. This notice shall be
by advertisement in one or more newspapers published or of general
circulation in the county and shall be printed at least once a week for
three consecutive weeks. The notice shall state that in not less than
three weeks in the future, the board will meet in public hearing to
