services and charges, such assessments shall be paid within the
prescribed time period. If such assessments are not paid within this
period, the county treasurer shall sell such property of the delinquent
taxpayer at the same time as other properties at a tax sale.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

CHAPTER 779
(House Bill 1454)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 765 to 768, inclusive, of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Baltimore City (1949 Edition, being Article 4
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Baltimore
City," subtitle "Vagrant, Dependent and Vicious Children"; Sec-
tion 767 thereof having been amended by Chapter 616 of the
Acts of 1961, repealing certain obsolete and inapplicable local laws
of Baltimore City concerning vagrant, dependent, vicious
children and which relate generally to certain minors and their
activities in Baltimore City.

Whereas, Sections 765 to 768, inclusive, of the Public Local
Laws of Baltimore City under the heading "Vagrant, Dependent,
and Vicious Children" concerns the activities of? certain1 minors in
Baltimore City; and

Whereas, The sections have been obsolete since the enactment of
Chapter 818 of the Acts of 1943, this being the state-wide Juvenile
Court Laws; and

Whereas, The Juvenile Court Judge of the Supreme Bench of
Baltimore City recommends that these sections in the local laws be
repealed as obsolete and as having no further application or effect.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 765 to 768, inclusive, of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Baltimore City (1949 Edition, being Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Baltimore City," subtitle
"Vagrant, Dependent and Vicious Children," be and they are hereby
repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.
