Whereas, The Director of the Minimum Wage Commission for
the City of Baltimore concurs in the recommendation that these
sections in the local laws should be repealed; now, therefore
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 347 to 350, inclusive, of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Baltimore City (1949 Edition, being Article 4 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Baltimore City," subtitle
"Hours of Labor and Wages," be and they are hereby repealed.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

(House Bill 413)
AN ACT to repeal Section 351 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Baltimore City (1949 Edition, being Article 4 of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Maryland), title "Baltimore City," subtitle
"Manure," repealing an obsolete provision in the Code of Public
Local Laws of Baltimore City which defines a cart load of manure.
Whereas, Section 351 of the 1949 Code of Public Local Laws for
Baltimore City defines a cart load of manure as containing forty cubic
feet; and
Whereas, This provision in the local laws seems somewhat inap-
plicable and obsolete in the modern life of Baltimore City and should
be repealed; now, therefore
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 351 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Baltimore City
(1949 Edition, being Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), title "Baltimore City," subtitle "Manure," be and it is
hereby repealed.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
