Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Prince George's
County," subtitle "Election Districts," relating generally to the
election district boundary lines for Election District Vansville No.
1, Election District Laurel No. 10 and Election District Bowie No.
14, all said election districts being within Prince George's County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 27-1, 27-10 and 27-14 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Prince George's County (1963 Edition and 1967 Supplement, being
Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title
"Prince George's County," subtitle "Election Districts," be and they
are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, and to read
as follows:
27-1.
Beginning at the points where the centerline of [Soper or
Greenbrier Road] Greencastle Road intersects the boundary line
between Prince George's and Montgomery Counties, and running
thence with the centerline of said [Soper or Greenbrier Road]
Greencastle Road easterly to the centerline of Montgomery or Gun-
powder Road, thence northerly with the centerline of Montgomery
or Gunpowder Road to the centerline of Contee or Van Dusen Road,
thence with the centerline of Contee or Van Dusen Road easterly to
the centerline of [Furnace or Bigelow Road, thence southerly with
the centerline of Furnace or Bigelow Road to the centerline of
Cinder Road, thence still southerly with the centerline of Cinder Road
and the projection thereof, to the centerline of the Baltimore and
Ohio Railroad, thence northeasterly with the centerline of the Balti-
more and Ohio Railroad to the centerline of Contee Road, thence
easterly with the centerline of Contee Road to the centerline of State
Road No. 197 or the Laurel-Bowie Road, thence southeasterly with
the centerline of State Road No. 197 to the centerline of the Brock
Bridge Road, thence leaving the intersection of the centerlines of
State Road No. 197 and the Brock Bridge Road and running across
the Montpelier Farm southwesterly in a straight line to the inter-
section of the centerlines of the Muirkirk Road and the Fairspring
or Old Stage Road, thence southwesterly with the centerline of the
Fairspring or Old Stage Road to the centerline of the Vansville,
Swampoodle or Odell Road, thence with the centerline of said Road
southeasterly to the centerline of the East-West Highway, thence
westerly with the centerline of the East-West Highway to the center-
line of the S.C.S.-Swine Road, thence with the centerline of the
S.C.S.-Swine Road southerly to the centerline of the Beaverdam
Road,] Virginia Manor Road, thence easterly and southerly with
the centerline of Virginia Manor Road to the centerline of Shady
Lane, thence southeasterly with the centerline of Shady Lane to the
centerline of Baltimore Avenue, thence southwesterly with the
centerline of Baltimore Avenue to the centerli |
