1967 Supplement) and new Sections 70-72(d), (e) and (f) of the
Montgomery County Code (1965 Edition, as amended), being
Articles 17 and 16, respectively, of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, titles "Prince George's County," and "Montgomery
County," subtitle "Park and Planning Commission," to authorize
land acquisition by the Park and Planning Commission in Prince
George's County; to delineate what may be acquired; to provide
for prior approval by the County Commissioners; to establish a
land acquisition revolving fund in Prince George's County; to
provide for the sale of serial bonds and for a mandatory PERMIS-
SIVE tax levy in Prince George's County to be used for the land
acquisition revolving fund heretofore created; to provide for the
transfer, repayment and use of lands acquired and relating gen-
erally to the acquisition and transfer of land and a land acquisition
revolving fund in Prince George's County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Sections 59-66(d), (e) and (f) be and they are hereby
added to the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's County
(1963 Edition and 1967 Supplement) and new Sections 70-72(d),
(e) and (f) be and they are hereby added to the Montgomery
County Code (1965 Edition, as amended), being Articles 17 and 16,
respectively, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, titles
"Prince George's County" and "Montgomery County," subtitle
"Park and Planning Commission," to follow immediately after Sec-
tions 59-66(c) and 70-72(c) of the respective County Codes, and to
read as follows:

59-66 (70-72).

(d)    The commission is authorized to include in its annual budget
provision for the acquisition of lands, needed for arterial limited
access highways and for school sites and other public uses, except
streets or roads (other than such arterial limited access highways),
within the Regional District in Prince George's County and all such
land acquisition shall be subject to prior approval by the County
Commissioners for Prince George's County.

(e)    For the purposes of this section in Prince George's County
the Commission is authorized to establish in its annual budget a
continuing land acquisition revolving fund from which disburse-
ments for the purposes of this section shall be made, and the
Commission is authorized and empowered to issue and sell serial
bonds from time to time in such amounts as it may deem necessary
for said purpose. The total amount of such bonds outstanding at any
time shall not exceed such amount as can be redeemed within thirty
(30) years from date of issue by means of a tax of three cents
(3¢) on each one hundred dollars ($100.00) assessed valuation in
Prince George's County; in making such calculation, assumptions
may be made as set forth in Section 45(b) of this title. The provi-
