Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 124 of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1968 Supplement), title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle
"Crimes and Punishments," subheading "Drunkenness and Dis-
orderly Conduct," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

124.

Any person who shall enter upon the land or premises of any other
person, whether such person be the owner or lessee of said land or
premises and wilfully act in a disorderly manner by making loud and
unseemly noises, or by profanely cursing or swearing or using
obscene language or acting in any other disorderly manner while
thereon, shall upon conviction thereof be sentenced to pay a fine of
not less than one dollar and not more than twenty-five dollars, and
the costs of the prosecution; and the several justices of the peace of
this State shall have concurrent jurisdiction over such offense with
the circuit courts for their respective counties; and when said fine and
costs are not paid, the parties so convicted shall be committed to the
county jail for a term not exceeding thirty days or until discharged
in due course of law; provided, however, that the provisions of this
section shall only apply to Allegany County, Caroline County, Cecil
County,
Charles County, Frederick County, Harford County, Howard
County, Montgomery County, Prince George's County, St. Mary's
County, Carroll County, Queen Anne's County, Washington County,
Worcester County, Talbot County, Wicomico County, Dorchester
County and Kent County; provided that in Worcester County this sec-
tion shall also apply to beaches adjacent to residential riparian prop-
erty and provided further that no bonfires shall be built nor allowed to
burn on any beach or other property in Worcester County between
the hours of 1:00 o'clock a.m. and 5:00 o'clock a.m.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

CHAPTER 8
(House Bill 116)

AN ACT to repeal Section 40 (h) of Article 10 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume), title "Attorneys at Law
and Attorneys in Fact," subtitle "State's Attorney," and to enact
new Section 40 (h) in lieu thereof, to stand in the place of the
section repealed, making the State's Attorney's position in Cecil
County full time,
increasing the salary OF THE STATE'S AT-
TORNEY AND THE ASSISTANT STATE'S ATTORNEYS FOR
CECIL COUNTY thereof, and generally relating to this office
and its operations.
