an incentive fund for school construction, as such section may be
amended from time to time.

(Senate Bill 709)
AN ACT to add new Section 5-202A to the Code of Public Local
Laws of Anne Arundel County (1967 Edition, being Article 2 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Anne Arundel
County," subtitle "Circuit Court," to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 5-202 thereof, to provide that the County Council of Anne
Arundel County may pay a pension to the widows of certain
judges.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 5-202A be added to the Code of Public Local Laws
of Anne Arundel County (1967 Edition, being Article 2 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Anne Arundel County,"
subtitle "Circuit Court," to follow immediately after Section 5-202
thereof and to read as follows :
5-202A.
(a) The County Council of Anne Arundel County may pay a
pension to the widow of any judge of the fifth judicial circuit if he
served as a judge at any time during or following the year 1966 and
resided in Anne Arundel County during his service as such.
(b) The pension paid to the widow may be annually an amount
equal to that which she would have received under the provisions of
Section 50 of Article 26 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966
Replacement Volume), title "Courts" subtitle "Pensions of Judges
and Their Widows," had she been eligible to receive a pension under
those provisions.
(c) The County Council of Anne Arundel County may levy upon
the assessable property of the county a tax sufficient to pay the
amount payable under this section.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

AN ACT to waive the provisions of Section 10 of Chapter 759 of
the Acts of 1967, said section relating to the time by which
projects contained in the General Construction Loan of 1967 must
be placed under contract, insofar as the provisions of said section
apply to the item in Section 5 (C) (4) in said Construction Loan
