rolled in the University of Maryland AND THE COMMUNITY
COLLEGES WITHIN THE STATE.

Each member of the House of Delegates may appoint, during his
term of office, two students from his district, selected on any basis,
who shall be educated by the University OR THE COMMUNITY
COLLEGES WITHIN THE STATE free of charge for tuition.

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, the recipient of a House
of Delegates scholarship to the University of Maryland may elect to
attend an accredited community college in the county of his residence,

and apply the value of said scholarship to the tuition at said com-

munity college.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

AN ACT to repeal Section 20 of Article 74 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1967 Replacement Volume), title "Pilots," relating
to waters to which Article 74, title "Pilots," is applicable.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 20 of Article 74 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1967 Replacement Volume), title "Pilots," be and it is hereby
repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1,1969.

AN ACT to repeal Section 2 of Article 74 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1967 Replacement Volume), title "Pilots" and to
enact new Section 2 in lieu thereof, to stand in the place of the
section repealed, to provide for the composition and expenses of
the Board of Examiners of Maryland Pilots.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 2 of Article 74 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1967
Replacement Volume), title "Pilots," be and it is hereby repealed;
and that new Section 2 be and it is hereby enacted in lieu thereof,
to stand in place of the section so repealed, and all to read as
follows:
