MARVIN MANDEL, Governor                       1243

of the General Assembly of 1967, said Section relating to the
time by which projects must be placed under contract insofar as
the provisions of said Section relate to the items in Sections
5(E)(1-C) and 5(E)(5)(b) in the General Construction Loan of
1967.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 5(E) (1-C) of Chapter 759 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1967, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

5.

(E) (1-C) Elk Neck State Park:
[Installation of sewage disposal facilities]

Construction of utilities for the Stony Point camping

area, including a complete water system.................... $150,000

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the provisions of Section
10 of Chapter 759 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1967, be
and they are hereby waived, insofar as they impose a time for
placing under contract the items in Section 5(E)(1-C) in said
Chapter 759 of the Acts of 1967, making available One Hundred
and Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000) for installation of sewage
disposal facilities in Elk Neck State Park, and in Section 5(E)(5)
(b) in said Chapter of said Acts, making available Two Hundred
and Sixty Thousand Dollars ($260,000) for construction of a dam
and the State's share of cost for a new bridge on Long Draft Road
in Seneca Creek State Park. With the waiver of these provisions
so applied to these items, there shall be allowed an additional period
of two years, beginning on the effective date of this Act, for placing
these projects under contract. If these projects shall not have been
placed under contract within a period of two years, beginning on
the effective date of this Act, then it shall be deemed to have been
abandoned and the other provisions of Section 10 of Chapter 759
of the Acts of 1967 shall be fully effective as to these projects.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1969.

(House Bill 1139)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 5 (F) (3-1)
of Chapter 743 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1965, to
add certain items to projects authorized in the General Construc-
tion Loan of 1965 for construction in General Smallwood Historic
Site.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 5(F) (3-1) of Chapter 743 of the Acts of the General
