of Annapolis necessary to complete the development of the plan gen-
erally referred to as the "Maryland State Facilities in Annapolis,"
and to use any funds available from time to time for such purpose.
Should it become necessary to acquire any or all of the hereinafter
mentioned properties by condemnation, it shall be according to the
procedures set forth in Article 33A of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land, as amended from time to time. The Board of Public Works
shall have the authority to acquire such property by condemnation
notwithstanding the provisions of Section 193 of Article 23 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Replacement Volume as
Amended) or any other statute or statutes to the contrary. The Board
of Public Works is further authorized to enter into such agreements
as it deems appropriate with the State Roads Commission or any
other public or private agency or group or individual and to take
such other action as its deems appropriate to initiate and complete
the development of the "Maryland State Facilities in Annapolis."

The Board is authorized to acquire the following parcels of land
and to acquire all interests in these parcels, whether on record or
not and by whomever owned:

Parcel No. 1

All or a portion of that parcel of land located at the intersection
formed by the southeast side of Taylor Avenue and the northeast
side of Roscoe Rowe Boulevard, now owned by the Naval Academy
Athletic Association, containing 3.49 ± acres of land, and more par-
ticularly described in a lease dated November 4, 1964, between said
Naval Academy Athletic Association and Alpha Enterprises, Inc.,
which lease is recorded among the land records of Anne Arundel
County in Book 1909 at Page 571.

Parcel No. 2

All that piece or parcel of land situate, lying and being in or near
the City of Annapolis, Anne Arundel County, Maryland, and more
particularly described as follows:

Beginning for the same at a concrete monument heretofore planted
on the northwest side of Taylor Avenue, as shown on the plat desig-
nated "Buildings and Grounds, U. S. Naval Academy, Annapolis,
Md., Navy Athletic Association Property, West Annapolis, Md. dated
December 21, 1939," Naval Academy No. 6344 and running thence
with and binding on the northwest side of Taylor Avenue as shown
on said plat North 41 degrees, 57 minutes East 500.00 feet, thence
leaving said Taylor Avenue and running across said Taylor Avenue
and the right of way of the Washington, Baltimore and Annapolis
Railroad, South 42 degrees, 28 minutes, 10 seconds East 101.16 feet
to the division line between said Railroad land and the land now or
formerly belonging to the Navy Athletic Association, thence running
with and binding on the division line between the land now or
formerly belonging to said Navy Athletic Association and the land
being described now or formerly belonging to the Washington, Balti-
more and Annapolis Railroad the 18 following courses and distances,
viz: South 30 degrees, 06 minutes, 50 seconds West 54.71 feet; South
26 degrees, 58 minutes, 50 seconds West 95.73 feet; South 21 degrees,
12 minutes, 50 seconds West 94.36 feet; South 14 degrees, 04 minutes,
50 seconds West 93.23 feet; South 5 degrees, 44 minutes, 50 seconds
West 92.76 feet; South 2 degrees, 28 minutes, 10 seconds East 92.80
