districts known as Election Districts. These Commissioner Districts
shall include the following areas:

	District One

These districts shall be subject to review and change, if necessary,
by the Maryland General Assembly after the publication of each
decennial federal census in order that they shall remain five con-
tiguous districts apportioned on a division of substantially equal
population.

(c) They shall receive an annual salary of [six thousand dollars
($6,000.00)] seventy five hundred dollars ($7,500.00) EIGHT
THOUSAND DOLLARS ($8,000.00) , with an additional annual sal-
ary of [five hundred dollars ($500.00)] twenty five hundred dollars
($2,500.00) TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS ($2,000.00) for the
Chairman of the Board, all payable monthly by the Treasurer of said
County and they are required to meet for the transaction of public
business at their office at Bel Air at least one day each week, and as
much oftener as the proper discharge of their official duties may
require. Said County Commissioners shall not receive any additional
compensation for any services required to be performed pursuant
to their duties as County Commissioners, including their duty to
review assessments; provided further that each of the said County
