Sec. 7. And be it further enacted, That all matters committed by
this Act to the discretion of the Board of Public Works shall be
determined by a majority of said Board.
Sec. 8. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July JUNE 1, 1969.

AN ACT to add 14 new sections to Article 56 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume), title "Licenses," to be
known as Sections 157A to 157N, inclusive, and to be under the
new subtitle "Motor Fuel Inspection Law," establishing a program
and facilities for the inspection of motor fuel in this State; relat-
ing to analysis of the quality of such fuels; establishing standards
for motor fuels and for the dispensing pumps and other storage
and dispensing facilities; regulating the sale, advertising, and dis-
pensing of motor fuels; providing for the enforcement of the Act;
and relating generally to the inspection, dispensing, storage, and
use of motor fuels in this State.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland.
That new Sections 157A to 157N be added to Article 56 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume), title "Licenses,"
to follow immediately after Section 157 of Article 56 thereof, to be
under the new subtitle "Motor Fuel Inspection Law," and to read
as follows:
Motor Fuel Inspection Law
157A. Definitions.
The definitions set forth in Section 135 of this Article shall be
applicable to this subtitle. In addition, the following words, terms
or phrases are, for purposes hereof, defined as follows:
(1) The word "gasoline" as used in this law shall embrace and
include gasoline, benzol, benzine, naphtha and any other liquid pre-
pared, advertised, offered for sale, sold for use as, or used for, the
generation or power for the propulsion of motor vehicles including
any product obtained by blending together any one or more products
of petroleum with or without other products, if the resultant product
is capable of the same use.
(2) The words "special fuels" shall embrace and include diesel
oils, kerosene, and heating oils or liquids used in diesel engines or
in internal combustion engines for the propulsion of motor vehicles,
including any product obtained by blending together any one or
more products of petroleum with or without other products, if the
resultant product is capable of the same use.
(3) "JOBBER"—SHALL MEAN AND INCLUDE ANY PER-
SON, FIRM OR CORPORATION WHO BUYS MOTOR VEHICLE
