The A reimbursement form MS 6 will be used for prescribing all
drugs under the Medicaid Program in Maryland and it shall road
substantially as follows:
INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING STATE-
MENT: THIS PRESCRIPTION SHALL BE FILLED BY A GE-
NERIC EQUIVALENT FROM THE STATE HEALTH DE-
PARTMENT FORMULARY, UNLESS CHECKED BY THE
PRESCRIBING PHYSICIAN.

Unless the physician indicates otherwise on the form, it is
understood that the generic form of the drug from the State Health
Department Formulary will be utilized in filling the prescription.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

CHAPTER 411
(House Bill 32)

AN ACT to add new Sections 89 to 104, inclusive, to Article 96A of
the Annotated Code of Maryland, (1964 Replacement Volume and
1968 Supplement), title "Water Resources," to follow immediately
after Section 88 thereof, to be under the new subtitle "Maryland
Potomac Water Authority," to establish the Maryland Potomac
Water Authority for the purposes of financing the non-federal
costs of the Bloomington Dam and Reservoir, to provide the au-
thority of this body to carry out its functions, to authorize certain
counties to collect the funds to pay their portion of the costs to the
Authority, to provide that the Department of Water Resources shall
include in its water appropriation permits for out-of-state users a
charge for use of waters under the jurisdiction of the Authority,
and generally dealing with the financing of non-federal costs of the
Dam and Reservoir.

Whereas, Construction of the Bloomington Reservoir on the North
Branch of the Potomac River has been authorized by the Flood
Control Act of 1962, approved 23 October 1962 (Public Law 87-874,
87th Congress, 2nd Session, 76 Stat. 1173) substantially in accord-
ance with the recommendations of the Chief of Engineers in House
Document 469, 87th Congress, for the purposes of flood control, water
supply, water quality control, and recreation; and

Whereas, Congressional authorization of construction of the
Project is conditioned on responsible non-federal interests providing,
prior to construction of the Project, the non-federal cooperation con-
tained in said House Document 469; and

Whereas, The State has been identified as the responsible non-
federal interest initially benefiting from and affected by the Project
and has agreed to furnish the necessary non-federal cooperation as
contained in said House Document 469; and
