Killock of the Same County in a plea of trespass on the Case. And

whereupon the sd Alexander by Sam^l Alexander his Attorney Saith

that whereas the sd James y^e 9^th day of Jan^ry in the year of o^r Lord

1693/4 at Monocan within the Jurisdiction of this Court did bind

himself his Heirs or Assigns to pay or Cause to be paid unto the sd

Alexander y^e just & full Sum of four hundred pounds of good Sound

Mertable tobacco in Caske upon demand as by his Certain writing

obligatory which the sd Alexander bringeth here into Court Signed by

the Same may appear but he the sd James y^e sd Writeing not regarding

the sd Sum of four hundred pounds of tob to the sd Alexander hath

not paid although often demanded but the same to doe hath hitherto

refused & doth Still refuse to y^e damage of the sd Alexander of 800 lib

of tobacco & thereof he brings his Sute.                       Jn^o Doe

This Bill bindeth me James Walker of St. Martins & Somerset

County Planter his Heirs or Assigns to pay or cause to be paid to

Alexander Killock of Monokin River & County of Somerset Planter

Sufficient Merchantable tobacco in Caske on demand Convenient

firmely & freely by these p^rsents as Witness my hand this ninth
