Tarr Admrx of all & Singular the goods Chattels & Credits of John Tarr late of this County decd of a plea that he render unto her five hundred thirty five pounds of good Sound Mertable tobacco void of ground leaves & trash & also the Just Quantity of nine bushels of good Sound Mertable Indian Corn which from her he detaineth &ca. - - -And whereupon the sd Elizabeth by Robt Pirrie her Attorney Complaineth that whereas the sd Edmd ye 5th day of March in the year of or Lord 1693/4 at Snow hill within the Jurisdiction of this Court by his Bills Obligatory which the sd Eliz with the Seal of the sd Edmd Signed bringeth here into Court the date of the aforesd Bills are ye day & year afd, acknowledged himself to be indebted unto the sd John Tarr in his life time in ye fsd quantity of 535 pounds of tobacco, to which paymt the sd Edmd bound himself firmly by ye Bills & by one other Bill did acknowledge himself to be indebted unto the Said [John] Tarr in his lifetime in the quantity of nine bushels of Indian Corn
