Memorandum that upon the request of m^r Matt Scarbrough these

are to Certifie all whome it shall Concern that I did receive from Robert

Howard on the Sixth day of November last fourteen head of Catle, Eight

whereof were as followeth (that is to Say) one seven year old Stear, one

Six year old Stear, one five year old Stear, one four year old Stear, three

three year old Stears, and one Red Cow all which sd Eight head of Catle

were marked with a Cropp on the left ear & a hole at y^e root of y^e right

& a Slitt from the hole to the topp of the ear, to the trueth of y^e above

Written I have hereunto Sett my hand this 10^th day of Jan^ry 1695/6
