Now yr Petioner humbly craves yr Worpps Order for ye Confirmacon of the Same, which for the good of the Orphants, as in duty bound Shall ever pray. The afd Petion being read was by the Worll Court Considered and Ordered, that the foresd John Trahearne & James Trahearne be both put Apprentice to ye Said Geoge Lane, till they attaine to one & twenty years of age each of them. The sd Lane – in Open Court obliging him Self to learn them both to read & when at eighteen years of age each of them to give them a Cow & Calfe. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Ordered by the Court that George Layfield Esqr pay unto mr ffra Jenkins three thousand eight hundred pounds of tob it being in Consideracon of 8£: 4s: 1d: which the sd Jenckins had expended for the Counties & for ye Court house use &ca. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ By Vertue of an Order of this Court bearing date November 14th anno Domini 1695. This Day appeared Rowland Beavins Senior & Junior as also Robert Smith Likewise appeared King Daniel King of Pocomoke & four of his great Men, in Obedience to the foresd Order (viz) to determine & make Report of & Concerning the sd Kings Land, and whether that one John Parker of this County hath made any infringmt or built within the sd Kings bounds or not. And they the Said Rowland Beavins Senior & Junior with ye sd Robert Smith doe Report & Say to the Worll. Court, that in obedience to the foresd Order of Court, they have inspected into the sd King Daniels Lands, & have rightly found out his lines and bounds, & doe find that he the sd John Parker hath built nigh half a mile within the sd Kings Land & bounds – Whereupon this Court having well Considered ye premises Doe Order that he the sd John Parker from hence forward wholy desist from any further proceeding or building upon the foresd King Daniels Land. the matter thereon Consisting of the Peace & Welfare of this Province. &ca. — — — fo 73 Upon Petion to this Worll.Court by Edward Stevens to be admitted ferry man of Pocomoke River. it is this Considered & Ordered that he the sd Edward be admitted fferryman as prayed, giving Security. ------ Whereupon Came the sd Edward Stevens & he two Securities Richard Tull & Walter Taylor. & the sd Edwd did acknowledge himself to be indebted to the King in ye Sum of Six thousand pounds of tobacco & his Securities in
