special trout stamp in addition to the regular fishing license. Said
stamp shall be obtained from the Department of Game and Inland
Fish [Department] at a cost of [$1.00] $2.00. $2.50. RESI-
DENTS OF THE STATE OF MARYLAND HAVING AT-
TAINED THEIR 70TH BIRTHDAY MAY OBTAIN A
FREE TROUT STAMP BY APPLYING TO THE DE-
PARTMENT OF GAME AND INLAND FISH. The Department
may designate persons engaged in a retail business (except where
distilled spirits are sold for consumption on the premises) to sell such
stamps under the control and supervision of the Department. The
person selling the stamp shall retain as compensation for issuing
stamps the sum of fifteen cents (15¢) FIFTY CENTS (50¢) out of
each [one dollar ($1.00)] two dollars ($2.00) AND FIFTY CENTS
($2.50) fee charged for every stamp sold.

(b) It shall be illegal for any nonresident of the State, 12 years
of age or older, to fish in any of the "designated" trout streams of the
State without first obtaining a special nonresidents' trout stamp in
addition to the regular nonresidents' fishing license. Said stamp
shall be obtained from the Department of Game and Inland Fish
[Department] at a cost of [$1.00] $2.00 $2.50.

208. Night fishing in streams stocked with trout; manner of catch-
ing shad and herring.

It shall be unlawful for any person to fish for or catch any fish of
any species in any of the non-tidal waters or streams which have
been stocked with trout by the Department of Game and Inland Fish
[Commission] or Federal Government between the hours of 8:00
P.M. and 5:30 A.M. standard time during the open season for taking
trout, except as provided by Commission Regulation.

White shad, hickory shad, and herring, may be caught or taken
only with rod, hook and line or hook and line or other implement or
device BY ANGLING, using bait or lure except as otherwise pro-
vided.

210. Sizes and creel limits.

The sizes and creel limits per day for game and fresh water fish
shall be set by regulation of the Game and Inland Fish Commission
under authority conferred upon it by Section 115 of this Article,
[within the prescribed limits listed below.] The Game and Inland
Fish Commission shall adopt and publish sizes, creel and possession
limits on game and fresh water fish annually on or before October 25
for the ensuing calendar year.
