Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws or parts of laws,
public general or public local, inconsistent with the provisions of
this Act are hereby repealed to the extent of any such inconsistency.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1968.

AN ACT to add a new Section 408A to Article 43 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume and 1966 Supple-
ment), title "Health," subtitle "Water, Ice and Sewerage," to follow
immediately after Section 408 thereof, providing that the Inter-
state Commission on the Potomac River Basin and the Upper
Potomac River Commission each may extend to its employees mem-
bership in the Employees' Retirement System of the State of Mary-
land and providing also for the procedures and conditions appli-
cable thereto.
AN ACT TO REPEAL AND RE-ENACT, WITH AMENDMENTS,
SECTION 21(1) OF ARTICLE 73B OF THE ANNOTATED
CODE OF MARYLAND (1965 REPLACEMENT VOLUME),
TITLE "PENSIONS," SUBTITLE "EMPLOYEES OF MUNIC-
IPAL CORPORATIONS," TO INCLUDE EMPLOYEES OF THE
INTERSTATE COMMISSION ON THE POTOMAC RIVER
BASIN AND THE UPPER POTOMAC RIVER COMMISSION
IN THE DEFINITION OF MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES FOR
PARTICIPATION IN THE EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYS-
TEM PURPOSES.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new Section 408A be and it is hereby added to Article 43 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume and
1966 Supplement), title "Health," subtitle "Water, Ice and Sewer-
age," to follow immediately after Section 408 thereof, and to read as
follows:
