(7) Or shall have been graduated from a non-accredited Archi-
tectural School requiring not less than four years in a curriculum
approved by the Board and shall have had at least six (6) years of
diversified practical training supervised by a registered architect
prior to filing his application, at least three (3) of which shall
have been in the United States;
(8) Or shall submit evidence of thirteen (13) years of diversified
practical training supervised by a registered architect or architects
prior to filing, at least three (3) of which shall have been in the
United States—applicants who have not completed their professional
education may, at the discretion of the Board be given credit for
the years they have successfully completed.
(b) All applicants meeting the qualification of subsection (a) may
take the examination given by the Board, and those who success-
fully complete such examination shall be registered by the Board.
(c) An applicant for registration as an architect in this State
who has previously been registered in any other State or in the
District of Columbia or in any foreign country and who is in good
standing in the other jurisdiction at the time he files an application
in this State may be registered in this State without examination
upon payment of all fees required by the Board, if an applicant
establishes to the satisfaction of the Board that the jurisdiction
in which he is registered has registration requirements at the time
the applicant became registered at least equivalent to the require-
ments in this State and that he has complied with these require-
ments.
520.
The following persons are not required to be registered as
Architects in accordance with the provisions of this subtitle.
(1) Professional engineers licensed by the Maryland State Board
of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors who
perform architectural services which are purely incidental to the
practice of engineering and not in conflict with the basic definition
of the Practice of Architecture in Section 516 (d); but no such
engineer shall use the designation "architect" unless licensed in
accordance with the provisions of this subtitle.
(2) Professional landscape architects who are engaged in the
preparation of drawings for, and the supervision of, planting, grad-
ing, walks, paving and such minor structures, normally included as
a part of their work.
(3) Real estate brokers, dealers and agents in making of the
appraisals of properties and the selection of sites.
521.
(a) A corporation or partnership, as such, may not be licensed
or registered to practice architecture or to use any form of the
title "architect" in connection with the corporate or partnership
name.
(b) The right to engage in the practice of architecture is a
personal right, based upon the qualifications of the individual
