and charitable institutions, churches, denominations or sects here-
inafter named.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the sanction and consent of the General Assembly of Mary-
land be and the same is hereby declared, given and granted to the
following gifts, bequests, devises, grants, sales, leases, conveyances
and deeds, to and from certain persons and bodies corporate to and
for the use of certain ministerial persons, religious and educational
corporations, orders, denominations and sects, and to certain chari-
table institutions hereinafter named and hereinafter set forth.

1.    Remainder interest of THE WESLEY HOME, INC., FOR-
MERLY The Home of the Aged of the Methodist Episcopal Church
of Baltimore City in one-third and one-half of Trust Estate created
by the Will of Virginia Van Rensselaer Jacques, who died on August
11, 1911, and whose Will is recorded in the Office of the Register of
Wills for Baltimore City in "Wills" Liber H.W.J. No. Ill, folio 5.

2.    BEQUEST UNDER ITEM 8 OF THE WILL OF HARRY E.
WARNER WHO DIED ON THE 13TH DAY OF JUNE, 1967,
WHOSE WILL IS FILED IN THE OFFICE OF THE RECORDER
OF WILLS OF BALTIMORE CITY UNDER "WILLS", LIBER
#316, FOLIO #511, BEQUEATHING TO THE MOUNT VERNON
PLACE METHODIST CHURCH SAID BEQUEST TO "BECOME
A PART OF THE PERMANENT ENDOWMENT FUND OF THE
SAID CHURCH AS A MEMORIAL TO GLADYS IRENE WAR-
NER ..... AND THE INCOME OF SAID FUND TO BE USED
FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INCORPORATED CHURCH AND
ITS SUCCESSORS.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

CHAPTER 462
(Senate Bill 274)

AN ACT to add a new Section 34 to Article 30 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1967 Replacement Volume and 1967 Supple-
ment), title "Deaf, Mute or Blind," to follow immediately after
Section 33 thereof and to be under the new subtitle "School for
the Deaf," requiring the establishing of a branch school to serve
as a part of the School for the Deaf and providing generally for
its location, operation, and financing.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 34 be and it is hereby added to Article 30 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1967 Replacement Volume and 1967
Supplement), title "Deaf, Mute or Blind," to follow immediately
after Section 33 thereof and to be under the new subtitle "School
for the Deaf," and to read as follows:
