Harford, Kent, Montgomery, Prince George's, Queen Anne's, St.
Mary's, Washington, Wicomico and Worcester counties.

(c) In any municipal corporation and in the following counties:
Anne Arundel, Calvert, Caroline, Cecil, Frederick and St. Mary's,
the time within which such claim must be presented is ninety (90)
days.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

CHAPTER 63
(House Bill 657)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 521 (e) of
Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1967 Replacement
Volume), title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle "Crimes and
Punishments," subheading "Sabbath Breaking," to allow Sunday
sales of antique and specialty items in Howard County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 521(e) of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1967 Replacement Volume), title "Crimes and Punishments," sub-
title "Crimes and Punishments," subheading "Sabbath Breaking," be
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

521.

(e) In addition to those articles which may now be lawfully sold,
disposed of, bartered, dealt in or given away in Howard County
on Sunday, retailers may sell, dispose of, barter, deal in or give
away on Sunday in Howard County the following: (1) Medical
supplies and medicines, (2) necessary and essential toilet articles,

(3)  antique and specialty items, souvenirs, pottery and chinaware,

(4)   vegetables, eggs, dairy products and smoked or cured meats,

(5)   food prepared for human consumption which is consumed on
the premises where sold, (6) all items necessary for the repair and
maintenance of motor vehicles, the furnishing of which is imme-
diately essential to the well-being or safety of the traveling public.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

Approved March 22, 1968.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 303 and 304 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Howard County (1965 Edition, being Article 14 of the
