(4) maintain supervision over all Court Security Officers and
other employees of the Division of Court House Security, and be
responsible for its efficient operation.
303-I.
Court Security Officers as provided in this subsection are hereby
vested with the powers of peace officers within the confines of the
Baltimore City Court House and any building utilized as an annex
thereto; and such powers shall extend outside the Court House and
any annex whenever such Court House Security Officer may be in
pursuit of any person who has committed any offense or breach
of peace within such buildings or has escaped from the lawful custody
of any Sheriff, jail guard, prison guard, or police officer.

The Chief of the Court House Security Division and all Court
House security officers are authorized to carry appropriate weapons
when so directed by the Supreme Bench; and they shall, when on
duty, wear uniforms approved and provided by the Supreme Bench.
303K.
The salaries of personnel of the Court House Security Division
together with funds necessary to provide uniforms, equipment, sup-
plies, and general expenses shall be included in the annual operating
budgets BUDGET REQUESTS of the Supreme Bench of Baltimore
City as provided in the Annual Ordinance of Estimates of the Mayor
and City Council of Baltimore City.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

AN ACT to repeal Section 45A of Article 54 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1967 Supplement), title "Hall of Records,"
subtitle "Land Patents"; to repeal and re-enact, with amendments,
Sections 13(a), 14(a), 16(b), 17(b), 19(b), 20(a), 24, and 25 of
said Article 54 (1967 Supplement), title "Hall of Records," sub-
title "Land Patents"; and to repeal and re-enact, with amend-
ments, Section 16 of Article 36 of said Code (1967 Supplement),
title "Fees of Officers," subtitle "Commissioner of Land Patents,"
generally amending the laws concerning land patents and the
office of Commissioner of Land Patents in order to correct cer-
tain errors therein, to clarify the language thereof, and to re-
arrange the sequence of sections therein.
Whereas, In Chapter 355 of the Acts of 1967 which revised
the laws concerning land patents and the office of Commissioner
of Land Patents, it was purported to repeal Section 46A of Article
