promises operated as an apartment house and public hotel, and
increasing the minimum room requirements for dual licensing of
public hotels TO PROVIDE FOR THE ISSUANCE OF UP TO
THREE CLASS B BEER, WINE AND LIQUOR LICENSES
TO PREMISES OPERATED AS AN APARTMENT HOUSE OR
PUBLIC HOTEL MEETING CERTAIN MINIMUM REQUIRE-
MENTS.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 41(b-2) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1967 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Gen-
eral Provisions on Issue of Licenses," be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

41.

(b-2) Notwithstanding any other provision of this section, in
Baltimore City the holder of [a] one or more "Class B" (on sale—
hotels and restaurants) beer, wine and liquor [license] licenses
under this article, by making application in the regular manner and
paying the usual fee, may obtain [an] additional "Class B" (on sale—
hotels and restaurants) beer, wine and liquor [license] licenses for
premises operated as a public hotel and having [seventy-five] one
hundred
or more rooms, [half of which are for transient trade,]
or as an apartment house and public hotel having one hundred fifty
or more apartments
PROVIDED, HOWEVER, THAT NO SUCH
LICENSEE MAY OBTAIN OR HOLD AT ANY ONE TIME MORE
THAN THREE CLASS B (ON SALE—HOTELS AND RESTAU-
RANTS) BEER, WINE AND LIQUOR LICENSES.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

CHAPTER 343
(House Bill 1006)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 90 (b)
(2) and 95B of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1967
Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages", subtitle "Hours and
Days for Sale", to permit Class C "on sale" (clubs) beer, beer and
light wine, or beer, wine and liquor licensees in Cecil County to
sett PERMIT THE USE AND CONSUMPTION OF alcoholic
beverages between certain hours on Sunday.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 90 (b) (2) and 95B of Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1967 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages",
subtitle "Hours and Days for Sale", be and they are hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

90.

(b) (2) This subsection shall be applicable and have effect in
Caroline, Cecil, Dorchester, Garrett, Harford, Kent, Queen Anne's,
