upon vouchers submitted by the Sheriff to the County Commissioners
of Cecil County in such form as they may specify, provided that he
shall also submit with such vouchers an affidavit sworn to by him upon
personal knowledge showing for each day of the month just passed
the number of miles each vehicle used by him and his deputies has
been driven in the performance of the duties of his or their office,
as determined by him from a daily check of the speedometer readings
of the respective vehicles. The Sheriff's office shall also receive an
appropriation of $1,500, to be used for special investigations and
employees, subject to the approval of the County Commissioners.
The Sheriff may also appoint temporarily such additional deputy
sheriffs as he may deem necessary for the public safety but only after
he has secured the approval of the County Commissioners, and the
County Commissioners shall allow reasonable compensation for same,
but these temporary deputies shall not serve longer than the case
actually warrants.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 112(1) (g)
of Article 21 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Replace-
ment Volume and 1967 Supplement), title "Conveyancing," subtitle
"Land Installment Contracts," to provide for the disclosure in
land installment contracts of the total sum of all installment pay-
ments NUMBER OF PERIODIC INSTALLMENTS.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 112(1) (g) of Article 21 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1966 Replacement Volume and 1967 Supplement) title "Con-
veyancing," subtitle "Land Installment Contracts," be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
112(1).
(g) The amount and time of each installment payment and the
total sum of all installment payments NUMBER OF PERIODIC IN-
STALLMENTS;
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.
