CHAPTER 219
(House Bill 269)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 712 (f-1)
of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1967 Sup-
plement), title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Oysters and Clams,"
to correct an error of wording in the subsection involving the
possession of undersized hard-shell clams.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 712(f-1) of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1967 Supplement), title "Natural Resources," subtitle
"Oysters and Clams," be and it is repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

712.

(f-1) It shall be unlawful for any person to have in his possession
hard-shell clams [Mercenaria (Venus)] (mercenaria) (VENUS
MERCENARIA) having a transverse dimension of less than one
inch.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

Approved April 10, 1968.

CHAPTER 220
(House Bill 270)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 53(d)
of Article 73B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1967 Sup-
plement), title "Pensions," subtitle "Baltimore City Police De-
partment Death Relief Fund" to correct an error of wording in
the subsection involving the audit and report of the Baltimore
City Police Department Death Relief Fund.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 53(d) of Article 73B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1967 Supplement), title "Pensions," subtitle "Baltimore City
Police Department Death Relief Fund" be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

53.

(d) The accounts of the fund shall be regularly audited by the
State Auditor, and from time to time by such independent certified
public accountant, the board of trustees may engage. On or before
May 1 in each year, the board of trustees shall publish annually
a report including the fiscal transactions of the fund for the year
ending the preceding December 31, and a detailed balance sheet as
of the said preceding December 31. The board shall submit copies
of said report for posting at all the headquarters and all other build-
