another motor vehicle moving in the same lane of traffic AND
THAT ANY SUCH OTHER MOTOR VEHICLE SHALL NOT
RIDE ABREAST OF A MOTORCYCLE MOVING ON A HIGH-
WAY IN THE SAME LANE OF TRAFFIC.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 195 (g) be and it is hereby added to Article 66½
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1967 Supplement), title "Motor
Vehicles," subtitle "Operation of Vehicles upon Highways" to follow
immediately after Section 195 (f) thereof, and to read as follows.
195.
(g) The operator of a motorcycle on a highway shall not ride
abreast of another motor vehicle in the same lane of traffic, AND ANY
SUCH OTHER MOTOR VEHICLE SHALL NOT RIDE ABREAST
OF A MOTORCYCLE ON A HIGHWAY IN THE SAME LANE OF
TRAFFIC.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

(House Bill 226)
AN ACT to add new Section 31A to Article 43 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume), title "Health,"
subtitle "Miscellaneous Provisions," to follow immediately after
Section 31 thereof, to provide for the reporting of certain com-
municable diseases to the Commissioner of the State Department
of Health, to provide the contents and manner of such reports, and
to classify such reports as confidential and not open to public
inspection.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 31A be and it is hereby added to Article 43 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume), title
"Health," subtitle "Miscellaneous Provisions," to follow immediately
after Section 31 thereof, and to read as follows:
31A.
(a) It shall be the duty of any person who is in charge of any
clinical laboratory, public or private, hospital or institutional in which
a laboratory examination of any specimen derived from a human
body yields microscopical, cultural, immunological, serological or
other evidence indicative of gonorrhea, syphilis or tuberculosis to
notify within 48 hours the Commissioner of the State Department of
Health, of such findings. This requirement does not apply to speci-
mens examined for tuberculosis that are derived from reported cases
under treatment in a licensed tuberculosis hospital.
