ations," correcting an error in the laws concerning the Regional
Planning Council, concerning particularly a reference to the
Board of County Commissioners of Anne Arundel County and
changing this reference to be one to the County Executive of Anne
Arundel County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 14 of Article 78D of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1965 Replacement Volume), title "Regional Planning Coun-
cil," subtitle "Operations," be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

14.

Before adopting the suggested general development plan or any
part thereof or any amendment, extension, or addition thereto,
the Council shall hold at least one public hearing within Baltimore
City and one each within Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Har-
ford, and Howard counties. At least two notices of the time and
place of each hearing shall be published, the first notice not less than
thirty days in advance thereof and the second notice not less than
fifteen days in advance thereof in a newspaper of general circula-
tion in the particular political subdivision. At least thirty days'
notice of each respective hearing shall be given in writing, and
accompanied by the specific matter to be considered at such hear-
ing, to the mayor of Baltimore City, the county executive of Anne
Arundel County,
the county executive of Baltimore County and the
respective president of the boards of county commissioners of
[Anne Arundel,] Carroll, Harford, and Howard counties.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1968.

(House Bill 97)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 26-15
and 26-23 (b) of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1967 Replacement Volume and 1967 Supplement), title "Election
Code," subtitle "Fair Election Practices," amending the public
election laws in order to correct mispunctuation and erroneous
wording therein.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 26-15 and 26-23(b) of Article 33 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1967 Replacement Volume and 1967 Supplement),
title "Election Code," subtitle "Fair Election Practices," be and they
are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
