any People's Court or magistrate court on any civil case be docketed
by the Circuit Court, until the clerk of the circuit court [for said
county] shall have been paid the costs therefor; nor shall any attach-
ment, writ of fieri facias or execution on judgment be issued until
the costs therefor shall have been paid to the said clerk, provided,
however, that the provisions of this section shall not apply to any
indigent plaintiff, or to any person unable to pay the costs of docket-
ing any said case or the issuance of any attachment, writ of fieri
facias or execution on judgment as provided herein.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

(House Bill 82)
AN ACT to add new Section 11(d) to Article 36 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume and 1967 Supple-
ment), title "Fees of Officers," subtitle "Bailiffs and Criers," to
follow immediately after Section 11(c) thereof, to provide for
the appointment of a court deputy in Dorchester County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 11(d) be and it is hereby added to Article 36 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume and
1967 Supplement), title "Fees of Officers," subtitle "Bailiffs and
Criers," to follow immediately after Section 11(c) thereof, and to
read as follows:

(d) In Dorchester County, in addition to the bailiffs and criers
as provided in subsection (a) above, the judge of the 7th 1ST Judicial
Circuit Court residing in Dorchester County may appoint a court
deputy to perform such duties as the court may direct and receive
such salary from the County Commissioners of Dorchester County
as prescribed by the County.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.
