CHAPTER 115
(Senate Bill 55)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 703A (a)
of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1967 Replace-
ment Volume and 1967 Supplement), title "Natural Resources,"
subtitle "Oysters and Clams," amending the preservation of
natural resources laws in order to correct omissions therein.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 703A (a) of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1967 Replacement Volume and 1967 Supplement), title
"Natural Resources," subtitle "Oysters and Clams," be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

703A.

(a) To enable private planters to more effectively compete for
seed oysters and more economically produce oysters through cleaning
of grounds, dredging by power boat is permissible on the grounds
leased for cultivation of oysters in Wicomico County located in the
Wicomico and Nanticoke rivers, subject to the following conditions:

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

Approved April 10, 1968.

CHAPTER 116
(Senate Bill 67)

AN ACT to add new Section 211H-12 to Article 89B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1966 Supplement), title "State Roads," sub-
title "Expenditure of Commission's Funds and Programming and
Scheduling of Highway Projects," to follow immediately after
Section 211H-11 thereof, to provide for inclusion of an TWO addi-
tional roads project PROJECTS in Anne Arundel County in the
State Roads Commission's official 20-year needs study, this project
THESE PROJECTS being the reconstruction of Spa Road in
Annapolis, AND THE RECONSTRUCTION OF A PORTION OF
ROUTE 214.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 211H-12 be and it is hereby added to Article 89B
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Supplement), title "State
Roads," subtitle "Expenditure of Commission's Funds and Program-
ming and Scheduling of Highway Projects," to follow immediately
after Section 211H-11 thereof, and to read as follows:

211H-12.

The official "twenty year highway needs study" of the State Roads
Commission is hereby amended to show the need for reconstruction
of Spa Road between West Street and Forest Drive in Annapolis,
