(B)   THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SUB-TITLE REQUIRING
INSPECTION OF THE SLAUGHTER OF ANIMALS AND THE
PREPARATION OF CARCASSES, PARTS THEREOF, MEAT
AND MEAT FOOD PRODUCTS SHALL NOT APPLY TO OPERA-
TIONS OF TYPES TRADITIONALLY AND USUALLY CON-
DUCTED AT RETAIL STORES AND RESTAURANTS, WHEN
CONDUCTED AT ANY RETAIL STORE OR RESTAURANT OR
SIMILAR RETAIL-TYPE ESTABLISHMENT FOR SALE IN
NORMAL RETAIL QUANTITIES OR SERVICE OF SUCH ARTI-
CLES TO CONSUMERS AT SUCH ESTABLISHMENTS.

(C)   THE SLAUGHTER OF ANIMALS AND PREPARATION
OF ARTICLES REFERRED TO IN PARAGRAPH (A) (2) OF
THIS SECTION, SHALL BE CONDUCTED IN ACCORDANCE
WITH SUCH SANITARY CONDITIONS AS THE BOARD MAY
BY REGULATIONS PRESCRIBE. VIOLATION OF ANY SUCH
REGULATION IS PROHIBITED.

(D)   THE ADULTERATION AND MISBRANDING PROVI-
SIONS OF THIS SUB-TITLE OTHER THAN THE REQUIRE-
MENT OF THE INSPECTION LEGEND, SHALL APPLY TO
ARTICLES WHICH ARE NOT REQUIRED TO BE INSPECTED
UNDER THIS SECTION.

(E)   THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SUBTITLE REQUIRING
INSPECTION OF THE SLAUGHTER OF ANIMALS AND THE
PREPARATION OF CARCASSES, PARTS THEREOF, MEAT
AND MEAT FOOD PRODUCTS SHALL NOT APPLY TO INDIVI-
DUALS OR SERVICE OR CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS WHO
KILL, DRESS, AND SELL WITHIN TWENTY-FOUR HOURS,
ON THEIR OWN PROPERTY, FRESH BEEF, PORK, OR LAMB,
PROVIDED, HOWEVER THAT A VETERINARY ANTE AND
POST MORTEM INSPECTION CERTIFICATE HAS BEEN IS-
SUED FOR EACH ANIMAL SO SLAUGHTERED.

PENALTIES
470-O.

Any person who commits any offense prohibited by Section 470-I
of the subtitle shall be guilty of a crime and shall on conviction
thereof be subject to imprisonment for not more than six months, or
a fine of not more than three thousand dollars ($3,000), or both
such imprisonment and fine; but if such violation is committed after
one conviction of such person under this section has become final,
such person shall be subject to imprisonment for not more than one
year, or a fine of not more than five thousand dollars ($5,000), or
both such imprisonment and fine; but if such violation is committed
after two or more convictions of such person under this section have
become final, such person shall be subject to imprisonment for not
more than two years, or a fine of not more than ten thousand dollars
($10,000), or both such imprisonment and fine.

act, omission, or failure of any person acting for or employed by an
individual, partnership, corporation, association, or other business
