THE CARCASSES OF ANY CATTLE, SHEEP, SWINE, GOATS,
HORSES, MULES, OR OTHER EQUINES, WHETHER IN-
TENDED FOR HUMAN FOOD OR OTHER PURPOSES, OR EN-
GAGE IN BUSINESS AS A PUBLIC WAREHOUSEMAN STOR-
ING ANY SUCH ARTICLES IN OR FOR SUCH COMMERCE, OR
ENGAGE IN THE BUSINESS OF BUYING, SELLING OR
TRANSPORTING IN SUCH COMMERCE, ANY DEAD, DYING,
DISABLED OR DISEASED ANIMALS OF THE SPECIFIED
KINDS, OR PARTS OF THE CARCASSES OF ANY SUCH
ANIMALS THAT DIED OTHERWISE THAN BY SLAUGHTER,
UNLESS, WHEN REQUIRED BY REGULATIONS OF THE
BOARD HE HAS REGISTERED WITH THE BOARD HIS NAME,
AND THE ADDRESS OF EACH PLACE OF BUSINESS AT
WHICH, AND ALL TRADE NAMES UNDER WHICH, HE CON-
DUCTS SUCH BUSINESS.
(B) No person engaged in this State in the business of buying,
selling or transporting dead, dying, disabled, or diseased livestock or
any parts of the carcasses of any livestock that died otherwise than by
slaughter, shall buy, sell, donate, transport, or offer or receive for sale
or transportation in this State any such livestock or parts of car-
casses, unless such transaction or transportation is made in accord-
ance with such regulations as the Board may prescribe to effectuate
the purposes of this subtitle.

(A) THE BOARD MAY BY REGULATIONS PRESCRIBE
THE CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH CARCASSES, PARTS OF
CARCASSES, MEAT FOOD PRODUCTS, WILD GAME, WILD
ANIMALS, AND OTHER MATERIALS ARE ALLOWED TO EN-
TER ANY ESTABLISHMENT, AT WHICH INSPECTION UNDER
THIS SUBTITLE IS MAINTAINED, TO ASSURE THAT ALLOW-
ING THE ENTRY OF SUCH ARTICLES INTO INSPECTED
ESTABLISHMENTS WILL BE CONSISTENT WITH THE PUR-
POSES OF THIS SUBTITLE.
(a) (B) When required by regulations adopted by the Board,
equines and their carcasses, parts thereof, and meat food products
shall be prepared in establishments separate from the establishments
in which cattle, sheep, swine, or goats are slaughtered or their car-
casses, parts thereof, or meat food products are prepared. The Board
may be regulations otherwise limit the entry of carcasses, parts of
carcasses, meat food products, and other materials into any establish
such conditions as may be prescribed to assure that allowing the
entry of such articles into inspected establishments will be consistent
with the purposes of this subtitle.
(b) (C) Carcasses, parts thereof, and meat food products which,
in any establishment at which inspection is maintained under this
subtitle, are prepared, wholly or in part, without supervision of an
inspector as required by the Board, or otherwise not in compliance
with the regulations under this subtitle, shall be handled or disposed
of as the Board may by regulations prescribe to prevent the use for
human food or OF articles that are adulterated or misbranded.
