(Senate Bill 73)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 2 (44)
of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1967 Re-
placement Volume), title "Motor Vehicles," subtitle "In General,"
to provide that the term "resident" in the motor vehicle laws shall
not include certain nonresidents maintaining temporary or seasonal
residences in the State for less than four months ONE HUNDRED
AND TWENTY DAYS during a registration year.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 2 (44) of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1967 Replacement Volume), title "Motor Vehicles," subtitle
"In General," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
2 (44). Resident. Every person who is a legal resident of this
State, and every nonresident (owner, corporation, manufacturer,
dealer, used car dealer) owning, maintaining or operating place or
places of business in this State and using motor vehicles intrastate
in connection with such business in this State, or, any nonresident
who maintains a temporary residence in this State and accepts any
employment or engages in any trade, profession or occupation in
this State, or any nonresident who maintains a temporary or sea-
sonal residence in this State in excess of ([ninety days] four months
ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY DAYS during the registration
year.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 689A(a)
of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1967 Replace-
ment Volume and 1967 Supplement), title "Health," subtitle "Radi-
ation Control," amending the public health laws in order to correct
erroneous wording therein.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 689A (a) of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1967 Replacement Volume and 1967 Supplement), title
"Health," subtitle "Radiation Control," be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
689A.
(a) The Board shall promulgate regulations for general or spe-
cific licensing of ionizing radiation sources and by-products, special
