thence proceeding in a straight line from Holland Island Bar light

to the southernmost point of land on Holland Island; thence follow-

ing the shore line to Holland Island, Adam Island, and Bloodsworth

Island to Okahanikan Point; thence proceeding in a straight line
from Okahanikan Point to Richland Point (State County Oyster

Dredge Line) on Lower Hooper Island; thence following the shore

line of Lower and Middle Hooper Island to a line running southwest

formed by placing Swan Island on range marker No. ID on the

shore of Middle Hooper Island; thence from a point 1.1 mile from

shore proceeding in a straight line, going northwest and parallel and

outside of Great Bar Sand Point on lower Barren Island; thence

follow the shore line of Barren Island to Barren Island Point; thence

proceeding in a straight line from Barren Island Point, across Bar-

ren Island Gap, to the southernmost point of the islands known as

the Marshes; thence following the shore line of Taylors Island to a

line running Northeasterly to Southwesterly from range marker

No. 2D on No. 3D on the shore of Taylor Island, 1400 yards below

the mouth of Punch Island Creek; continuing 2.7 miles up the shore

of Taylor Island, from a line running northeasterly to southwest-

erly, resulting from range marker No. 4D on No. 5D on the shore

of Taylor Island, 2 miles above the mouth of Punch Island Creek,

going north following the shore line of Taylors Island and James

Island to James Point; thence proceeding in a straight line from

James Point to Hill Point (County Oyster Dredge Line); thence in

a straight line from Hill Point in a northwesterly direction to State
Oyster Dredge Line Buoy lettered BB. THOSE WATERS OF DOR-

CHESTER COUNTY OR WATERS OF CHESAPEAKE BAY AD-
JACENT TO DORCHESTER COUNTY WHERE SUCH TAKING
OR CATCHING OF CLAMS IS NOT PROHIBITED BY PROVI-
SIONS OF SECTION 714C OF THIS ARTICLE OR REGULA-
TIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF CHESAPEAKE BAY AF-
FAIRS ADOPTED PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF SEC-
TION 714C OF THIS ARTICLE.

(2) It shall be unlawful to take or catch, or attempt to take or
catch, soft shell clams with a hydraulic or mechanical dredge, or
with any other type of gear, as follows:

(a)  In the Dorchester County waters of the Choptank River and
its tributaries; or in

(b)   Trippes Bay; or in

(c)  Little Choptank Riverthe area east of a line running from
James Point to Hill Point (County Oyster Dredge Line); or in

(d)  Tar Bay; or in

(e)  Honga River; or in

(f)  Hooper Straitsthe area ALL WATERS east of a line run-
ning from Richland Point to Okahanikan Point (State-County Oyster
Dredge Line); or in

(g)  Fishing Bay; ALL WATERS EAST OF A LINE RUNNING
FROM THE MOST SOUTHERLY POINT OF HOLLAND ISLAND
TO HOLLAND ISLAND BAR LIGHT; or in

(h) Dorchester County waters of Upper Tangier Sound. IN ANY
AREAS RESERVED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF CHESA-
PEAKE BAY AFFAIRS FOR PRODUCTION OF SEED OYSTERS.
