Dear Mr. Speaker:

In accordance with Section 17 of Article II of the Maryland
Constitution, I have vetoed today House Bill 344 and am returning
it to you.

The bill, extending the time period during which temporary
registration plates or markers may be used on motor vehicles from
20 days to 30 days, is a duplicate of Senate Bill 183, which has been
signed and is now Chapter 173 of the 1967 Laws of Maryland.

Sincerely yours,

(s) Spiro T. Agnew,

Governor.
Read and journalized.

House Bill No. 344—By Delegates Bonvegna and Schirano.

(g) and (h) of Article 661/2 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957
Edition), title "Motor Vehicles," subtitle "Administration—Registra-

vehicles to extend the period in which temporary registration plates
or markers may be used.
