AN ACT to repeal Section 148 (b-1) of Article 2B of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1966 Supplement), title "Alsoholic Bever-
ages," subtitle "Boards of License Commissioners"; to repeal and re-
enact, with amendments, Section 148 (g) of the said Article and
subtitle of the Code; and to add new Section 150(e) to the said
Article and subtitle of the Code (1957 Edition), to follow imme-
diately after Section 150(d) thereof, to change the manner of ap-
pointment of the members of the board of license commissioners
and to fix the number of liquor inspectors for Baltimore County.
Shall the bill pass notwithstanding the objections of the Executive?

Dear Mr. Speaker:
In accordance with Section 17 of Article II of the Maryland
Constitution, I have vetoed today House Bill 176 and am returning
it to you.
The bill would amend Section 532 of the Charter and Public
Local Laws of Baltimore City, and provides that the Accident Inves-
tigation Division of the Baltimore City Police Department shall fur-
nish copies of accident reports to all persons upon request and payment
of a fee. The sponsors of the bill have informed me that the
objectives to which it is directed will best be achieved by administra-
